Old windows need updating to new thermally efficient double glazing, both for the comfort of our homes and to reduce the effects of climate change. This could mean the loss of original stained glass features.
We have the solution! Heritage glazing!
We take your original stained glass panels out and resize, restore and fit them back into your new windows. Using Y section lead the stained glass sits between both clear panes of glass, achieving all the benefits of warmth and sound proofing leaving your original feature windows back where they belong.
Restoration
We restore damaged/ broken stained glass panels. We take great care in extracting the panel and boarding up the aperture.
Back at our studio we repair, strengthen and polish the stained glass and then refit it back into your window, leaving the old panel looking sturdy and back to its formal glory.
Glazing Repair Service
We can replace misted glass units, hinges, handles and carry out general window repairs to casements and fanlights to correct problems and extend the life of your windows
